Product Overview
This DIN rail dual power automatic transfer switch is designed to switch loads between the normal power source and a backup power source when the main supply fails. It is suitable for AC 50Hz or 60Hz distribution systems and generator networks with rated voltage AC400V, helping maintain continuous operation in circuits where power interruption should be minimized.
The compact ATS integrates a transfer switching device and controller, supporting automatic and manual operation. Its DIN rail structure makes it practical for PZ30 distribution boxes, control cabinets, and low-voltage panels that require reliable standby power changeover.
Key Features
- Generator backup switching: Transfers the load from normal power to standby power when the normal supply fails.
- DIN rail mounting: Compact rail-type design for easy installation in distribution boxes and control cabinets.
- Fast transfer performance: Contactor switching time, operation conversion time, return conversion time, and power-off time are each below 50ms.
- Multiple current ratings: Covers 16A, 25A, 32A, 40A, 50A, and 63A for small and medium distribution circuits.
- Flexible pole selection: 2P, 3P, and 4P models are available for different wiring systems.
- Control voltage options: Supports AC220V or AC110V rated control voltage with normal operation from 85%Us to 110%Us.
- PC grade operation: Switches and carries normal current and fault current without generating short-circuit current.

Recommended Applications
This ATS is suitable for distribution and backup power systems where a generator or standby source must supply the load after normal power failure.
- Small generator backup power systems
- Residential and commercial distribution boxes
- PZ30 distribution boxes and DIN rail panels
- Control cabinets and low-voltage power panels
- Lighting, security, communication, and equipment standby circuits
- Facilities where power outages are not allowed or should be reduced
Installation Conditions
- Ambient temperature should not exceed +40°C, should not be lower than -5°C, and the 24-hour average should not exceed +35°C.
- Installation altitude should not exceed 2000m.
- At +40°C, relative humidity should not exceed 50%; higher humidity is permitted at lower temperature with condensation protection as needed.
- Pollution degree: level 3 according to GB/T14048.11 / IEC60947-6-1.
- The product can be mounted vertically in a control cabinet or distribution cabinet with proper clearance.
Operation and Maintenance Notes
- Use automatic mode during normal operation; manual mode is mainly for inspection, maintenance, or special operation.
- Before installation, check product integrity and operate the handle to confirm the drive unit is flexible.
- The control circuit voltage should be AC220V or AC110V, and copper wire cross-section should not exceed 2.0mm2.
- Install appropriate circuit breakers according to the power distribution system requirements.
- Maintenance and inspection should be performed by qualified professionals after all power sources are disconnected.
- First maintenance is recommended within 6 months after use, then at least once per year.
Model Selection Notes
When selecting the correct model, confirm the rated current, pole number, control voltage, normal power source, backup generator source, distribution box layout, and required operation mode. For generator backup systems, also confirm voltage stability, control voltage, and the transfer logic required by the project.
