Product Overview
The LDQ9 series CB type dual power automatic transfer switch is designed for automatic transfer between normal power and standby power. It is suitable for AC 50Hz systems with rated working voltage AC400V and rated working current from 16A to 1200A, helping maintain power continuity in low-voltage distribution systems.
These CB Automatic Transfer Switches are available in intelligent type and terminal type designs. The intelligent type integrates a microcomputer controller, motor drive, gear mechanism, micro switch, operation keypad, LCD display, manual key, and dual mechanical/electrical interlocking, supporting reliable switching and convenient field operation.
Key Features
- CB class transfer design: Uses circuit breaker based switching for dual power supply systems.
- Normal and standby power transfer: Supports mutual transfer between common power and backup power sources.
- Multiple operation modes: Supports automatic operation, manual operation, and double-off operation for special conditions.
- Intelligent controller: Monitors three-phase voltage of the normal and standby power supplies and processes overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, and phase failure conditions.
- LCD display and keypad: Provides visible power status, voltage indication, fault information, and setting operation.
- Fire linkage support: Optional fire protection function with DC24V fire signal connection for emergency double-off operation.
- Remote communication option: Selected models include communication interfaces for remote monitoring and control.

Recommended Applications
This automatic transfer switch is suitable for locations where power continuity and reliable transfer between normal and standby sources are required.
- Residential communities and building distribution systems
- Military facilities and emergency power systems
- Hospitals, medical facilities, and healthcare buildings
- Shopping malls, commercial centers, and public buildings
- Airports and transportation facilities
- Distribution panels requiring fire linkage or remote control integration
Operating Modes
- Auto transfer with auto return: Transfers to standby power after normal power fault and returns automatically when normal power recovers.
- Auto transfer without auto return: Transfers to standby power after normal power fault, but does not return automatically after normal power recovers.
- Utility-to-generator mode: Sends generator start command when normal power fails, transfers after generator power becomes normal, and returns to normal power when restored.
- Double-off mode: Disconnects both normal and standby power and cuts off the load for special conditions.
Installation Conditions
- Installation altitude should not exceed 2000m.
- Ambient temperature should not exceed +40°C, should not be lower than -5°C, and the 24-hour average should not exceed +35°C.
- At +40°C, relative humidity should not exceed 50%; higher humidity is allowed at lower temperatures with condensation considered.
- Install in a location without explosive media, corrosive gas, insulation-damaging gas, excessive dust, severe vibration, or shock.
- Do not install outdoors directly or in high-temperature, humid, direct-sunlight, flammable, explosive, or conductive-dust environments.
Model Selection Notes
When selecting the correct model, confirm the rated current, pole number, intelligent or terminal type, working mode, fire linkage requirement, communication requirement, installation size, normal and standby source type, and whether the project requires utility-to-generator operation.
