1.Always disconnect DC power from the solar system before installation to ensure no residual voltage, preventing arc hazards caused by live operation.

2.Check the polarity marks: red for positive (+) and black for negative (-). Make sure they match the polarity of solar panels and inverters to avoid reverse connection damage.

3.Align and insert the MC4 male and female connectors horizontally. A "click" sound indicates a secure lock; gently pull to verify connection stability.

4.Tighten the waterproof nut at the connector end to ensure the sealing ring is properly fitted, achieving IP67 waterproof and dustproof protection.

5.Select the appropriate cable gauge according to your system power, and do not use the product beyond its rated voltage and current for long periods.

6.Use a special MC4 unlocking tool for disassembly. Press the locking tabs and separate connectors smoothly; do not pull the cable directly.

7.When laying outdoors, avoid scratching the cable with sharp objects, keep away from high heat sources, and leave proper slack for thermal expansion and contraction.

8.Regularly inspect connectors for looseness, water ingress or oxidation. Replace immediately if any abnormality is found.
