Load Break Isolating Switch

The HGL series is designed for AC 50Hz industrial power distribution systems with rated working voltage up to 600V and rated working current up to 3150A. It provides electrical isolation and can switch rated loads, making it suitable for distribution cabinets, machinery panels and maintenance isolation points.

The switch uses a glass-fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin shell, a spring energy-storage acceleration mechanism and two parallel separable contacts. Its blade-type elastic contact structure provides pressure connection, clear opening and closing limits, and visible status indication for safer operation.

• Ambient air temperature: upper limit +40C, lower limit -5C, and 24-hour average not exceeding +35C.
• Installation altitude should not exceed 2000m.
• Relative humidity should not exceed 50% at +40C; up to 90% is allowed at +20C with condensation prevention.
• Pollution degree: Level III.
• Installation category: III or IV according to the application environment.
• For special low-temperature or special installation conditions, technical confirmation is recommended before ordering.

The switch should be installed vertically and verified against nameplate requirements before installation. When the handle arrow and observation window show 0, the switch is open; when they show 1, the switch is closed.

• Terminals and connecting nuts should be insulated to prevent phase-to-phase short circuit.
• For external cabinet operation, the extension shaft must be coaxial with the handle hole.
• Routine maintenance is recommended approximately every six months.
• If rotating parts are stiff, apply suitable grease and check all fasteners.
• Stop using the product immediately if severe damage is found.
