Product Overview

The LD32 Series Manual Isolation Switch is a DIN rail mounted disconnector designed for safe power isolation, maintenance shutdown, and manual circuit control in low-voltage distribution systems. Unlike a miniature circuit breaker, this product is not intended to provide overload or short-circuit protection. Its primary function is to create a reliable physical separation point in the circuit, allowing electricians and maintenance teams to confirm that a downstream load or cabinet section has been isolated before inspection or repair. With a clear push-handle operation and visible ON/OFF position, it helps improve maintenance safety and simplifies daily power management in residential, commercial, industrial, photovoltaic, and energy storage distribution applications.

Built around a compact modular structure, the switch is available in 63A and 125A ratings with 2P, 3P, and 4P pole options. It supports AC 400V systems and is suitable for use as a main incoming isolation switch, a local maintenance disconnector, or a front-end isolation point before protected circuits. The product complies with IEC 60947-3 and GB 14048.3, making it a practical choice for projects that require a clear manual disconnecting device with stable mechanical performance.

Key Features

  • Manual push-handle operation with clear ON and OFF positions for intuitive circuit control.
  • Visible isolation gap after switching off, supporting safer inspection and maintenance procedures.
  • Standard 35mm DIN rail mounting for fast installation in distribution boxes and electrical cabinets.
  • Flame-retardant engineering plastic housing with good insulation, impact resistance, and heat resistance.
  • Available in 63A and 125A current ratings to match different load capacities and project requirements.
  • Suitable for AC-22A use category, allowing reliable switching of mixed resistive and inductive loads under rated conditions.
  • Designed for isolation duty and must be used together with a protective circuit breaker when overload or short-circuit protection is required.

Recommended Applications

  • Main incoming isolation for low-voltage distribution systems.
  • Maintenance isolation in distribution cabinets and terminal power boxes.
  • Photovoltaic, energy storage, and charging system front-end power isolation.
  • Industrial equipment, motor, pump, and machine maintenance circuits.
  • Commercial buildings, offices, shops, and branch power isolation points.

Installation and Use

Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician. Before wiring or maintenance, the upstream power supply must be disconnected and verified as de-energized. Mount the switch onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and ensure the locking clip is fully engaged. Connect the incoming line to the upper terminals and the outgoing load to the lower terminals according to the product markings. All terminals must be tightened securely to prevent loose connections, overheating, and insulation damage.

To energize the circuit, push the handle upward to the ON position. To isolate the circuit, push the handle downward to the OFF position. When switched off, the contact structure provides a visible physical break for maintenance confirmation. For safer servicing, the switch should be turned off and locked or clearly marked to prevent accidental re-energizing.

Important Selection Notes

This product is an isolation switch, not a protective breaker. It does not automatically trip during overload or short-circuit faults. For complete circuit safety, it should be installed together with suitable MCB, MCCB, fuse, or other protection devices selected according to the actual load current and fault level. Do not use the switch beyond its rated current, and avoid frequent switching of heavy loads unless the application conditions have been properly evaluated.
